Luxury Wedding At Outdoor Private Resort
Rancho Las Lomas is an amazing outdoor venue with several areas for photo ops. It is a private resort and zoological garden. There are many animals on the grounds such as a zebra, bengal tiger, some McCaws & Parrots, among others. Hidden away in the foothills of Orange County, CA, this lovely special event location is used for weddings, film and photo shoots, and unique corporate and commercial events. T
We were lucky enough to work with this venue for a Bridal Styled Photoshoot! Our images came out amazing and were featured on a few blogs!
Private Resort Outdoor Wedding Shoot
I got to handle the wedding makeup & hair of course, but also worked with some super talented vendors to create this shoot. The color palette was very plush and luxurious. We went with Navy, Emerald Green, Gold, and White florals.The theme was Modern Glam in a rustic setting. The Bride wore a Berta Muse Wedding Gown from the Muse Collection, just breathtaking! I kept the makeup very natural and soft, and went with a very elegant updo. We had multiple setups across the property, so we could take advantage of all the beautiful areas to take pictures.
The Archway was set among the Oaks & Willows draped with white Ranunculus and greenery. The aisle was lined with gold gilded side tables and tall standing candlesticks to give this a very romantic feel. You just feel like those stairs go on into a Sleeping Beauty Forest!
Wedding Details & Table Scape
For the table scape, the event designers used a wood table, which is usually a more casual look. It was set with gold dipped glasses, emerald colored glasses, gold-rimmed chargers, with white and gold china. The gold utensils also gave this a very rich look. Finished off with emerald candle sticks and a large floral centerpiece, by Posh Peony
A few other details in this shoot were the beautiful Emerald Green and Gold Invitations by Details Beyond Design and the fabulous Wedding Cake by Mix, Bake, Decorate Cake Shop, by Ashley McNeal. She incorporated the Navy Blue color into the cake and placed it on this gilded sake stand to showcase the confection. We also decided to take the updo down for the Reception because a lot of brides like to change-up their look for the party!
Vintage Rentals – The Cocktail Hour
Then Vintage Rentals for these shots of our “Cocktail Hour” in the Courtyard were just gorgeous. Sweet Salvage Rentals styled and supplied all the pieces for this setup. You can find all these items on their site, the fluffy rug, the ornate chairs, and Emerald Velveteen Sofa with Gold Frame! Gah! Just A-Mazing! Not to mention, the Modern Gold Side Tables and the Tea Cup China. Who doesn’t love tea time!
Perfect End To A Perfect Day
And last but not least, to finalize the day on this amazing production, was the Vintage Rolls Royce shots. It actually comes with a driver. It is meant for pictures and short trips. This one did have the ‘Just Married’ sign on the back. It really was the cherry on top of a spectacular shoot.
