Thanksgiving Day Makeup Tips
Thanksgiving Day- we are dressed up, we are eating, we are taking LOTS of photos; so I am here to give you some super quick and helpful makeup tips for FABULOUS photos!! You’re Welcome! LOL
- The BIGGEST one I can give you is DO NOT wear Mineral Makeup. Have you ever seen those white, floating head looking photos…well they used mineral makeup? Mineral makeup is reflective, so any flash photo will bounce light off your face & help you look positively ghostly!
- Try applying your makeup in natural light, facing or near facing a window instead of in your bathroom with overhead fluorescent, or orangey lighting. Your makeup will look the same indoor & outdoor if you do that.
- Lip color will appear 2 shades darker in your photos (especially indoor) so choose a mid-tone color, like a pink/purple berry that is rosier, or a true red.
- When touching up your makeup before a photo, don’t reapply powder. Bring your small sponge or beauty blender, dampen it, and bounce that in the areas you’d like to touch up. Powder leaves you looking dry. The sponge will clean up any lines and refreshen your makeup.
I hope these tips were helpful, and I cannot wait to see all the Thanksgiving selfies! And let’s be real, the pix of all the food! Enjoy your day with friends and family, and revel in all the gratitude you can.
Happy Thanksgiving!
